UV Disinfection Systems

ACE Engineering Limited is an authorised dealer of ultraviolet (UV) disinfection equipment from a major US company. We offer a complete service from assessment of your existing water quality through to installation and maintenance of the UV system. UV disinfection can serve as the primary disinfection method or as a reliable backup treatment system to your existing utility water supply.

Some of the many advantages of using ultra-violet disinfection systems include: EFFECTIVE - Virtually all microorganisms are susceptible to UV disinfection. NO CHEMICALS - No chlorine taste or corrosion problems, or possible formation of Trihalomethanes -THM's. AUTOMATIC - Continuous disinfection without special attention or any requirements for periodic measurements, calibrations, or adjustments. AUTOMATIC MONITOR AND SHUT OFF - using optional equipment, there is an absolute guarantee that no water will leave the purifier untreated.

Water Filtration
Crystal clear water is a prerequisite for effective disinfection. Here are some particle facts: The smallest particle visible to the naked eye is about 40 micron in diameter. The smallest bacteria are about 0.1 micron. Large bacteria normally found in surface water (but not known in our region) are just over 1 micron. Human hair is about 75 micron. 1 micron = 1/1000 mm = 1/ 25400 inches.
	ACE Engineering Limited can supply the reputable Harmsco® water filters to 0.35 microns, with cleanable and reusable cartridges, to provide you with perfectly clear drinking water. We can also supply the HARMSCO® 1-micron absolute rated water filter cartridges for 99.9% removal of Cryptosporidium and Giardia Lamblia cysts. We can also supply activated carbon filter cartridges, which will remove most taste, odour and chlorine from your water. These filters: Remove particles down to 5 microns, and Remove above 90% of all chlorine, most organic chemicals, odour and unnatural taste from your drinking water.
